History and Evolution
The Triumph TR7 V8, also known as the TR8, emerged in the late 1970s.
The TR7, with its distinctive "wedge" shape, debuted first in 1975.
However, enthusiasts and British Leyland engineers saw potential for more power,
leading to the introduction of the 3.5-liter Rover V8 engine.
This engine was a well-regarded unit, previously used in the Rover P6, Rover SD1, and even the MGB GT V8.
